Scriberr // Pipedrive Setup Guide


Intro

Scriberr can save recruiters and sales folks 3+ hours per week of data entry by connecting LinkedIn directly to their CRM for 1 click exports. On average Scriberr takes 8 minutes to set up, but if you run into any snags or need assistance getting set up, do not hesitate to reach out via the support chat in the corner of this page! Here are detailed instructions on how to get set up with pipedrive as your "CRM":

  1. Install the Scriberr Chrome Extension
  2. Sign into Your Scriberr Account
  3. Connect Scriberr to Pipedrive via Zapier
  4. Test the Integration

1. Install the Scriberr Chrome Extension

You can add the chrome extension two clicks here on the chrome web store, click "add extension" button then confirm.

Once the extension has been added to chrome, click the puzzle piece in the top right corner of chrome and pin the extension for easier access:

2. Sign into Your Scriberr Account

Once you have installed the extension, you will need to sign into your account on scriberr.co. You can check if you are signed in by clicking the Scriberr logo chrome extension, if you are signed in you will see a "you are all set" message after clicking the scriberr logo, otherwise you will be directed to login!

3. Connect Scriberr to Pipedrive via Zapier

If you aren't familiar with Zapier, it is a powerful automation platform that helps connect your different apps and tools, and is free to get started.

  1. Create a Zapier account here if you don't already have one
  2. Navigate to the Scriberr dashboard and click on the blue "connect pipedrive using Zapier" button

  1. Note: pipedrive requires a multi-step zapier flow, so you will need to have signed up for a paid Zapier plan if you don't already have one.
  2. Click "Try This Zap" and you will navigate to a custom zap template made just for Pipedrive

  1. Sign into your Scriberr account and your pipedrive account from within the Zapier interface for each of the four steps shown in the screen above.
  2. Finally, make sure to remember to turn the zap on!

4. Test out the Integration

Now you are all Set up to export candidates in one click, lets test out the integration!

  1. Navigate to linkedin.com and view anyone's profile who you are connected with, you should see a new Scriberr button appear in the top right corner of the page:

  1. After clicking the button, you will see a preview of all the candidate data in the side bar, feel free to edit or add a comment about the candidate

  1. Click the "save data" button and the profile will be exported directly to google sheets
  2. Navigate to google sheets and the new person should be populated into your spreadsheet!
