Scriberr // Bullhorn Setup Guide


Scriberr can save recruiters 3+ hours per week of candidate data entry by connecting LinkedIn directly to Bullhorn for 1 click candidate exports. On average Scriberr takes 5 minutes to set up, but if you run into any snags or need assistance getting set up, do not hesitate to reach out via the support chat in the corner of this page! Here are detailed instructions on how to get set up:

  1. Install the Scriberr Chrome Extension
  2. Sign into Your Scriberr Account
  3. Connect Scriberr to Zapier
  4. Connect Bullhorn to Zapier
  5. Test the Integration

1. Install the Scriberr Chrome Extension

You can add the chrome extension two clicks here on the chrome web store, click "add extension" button then confirm.

Once the extension has been added to chrome, click the puzzle piece in the top right corner of chrome and pin the extension for easier access:

2. Sign into Your Scriberr Account

Once you have installed the extension, you will need to sign into your account on scriberr.co. You can check if you are signed in by clicking the Scriberr logo chrome extension, if you are signed in you will see a "you are all set" message after clicking the scriberr logo, otherwise you will be directed to login!

3. Connect Scriberr to Zapier

The quickest way to get Scriberr hooked up to your ATS is to leverage an automation tool called Zapier. If you aren't familiar with Zapier, it is a powerful automation platform that helps connect your different apps and tools, and is free to get started.

Luckily, we have a pre-made Scriberr → Bullhorn Zapier recipe or "zap" to quickly get you up to speed. In order to use it you will need to:

  1. Create a Zapier account here if you don't already have one
  2. Navigate to the Scriberr → Bullhorn Zap here
  3. Click "try this zap" button
  4. Click Sign Into Scriberr, then login using your Scriberr credentials to give Zapier access to your Scriberr actions

  1. Click continue, then test the trigger, you should see some dummy candidate data returned from the test trigger, if you see this then you are in the right spot:

Now you have successfully connected Scriberr to Zapier. Whenever you export a LinkedIn profile using Scriberr, you can pass it to Zapier and route it to various different destinations! Your almost done, stay on this page!

4. Connect Bullhorn to Zapier

Next you need to connect your Bullhorn account to Zapier in order to save candidates to your ATS when they have been exported. This final step will complete the integration! To connect Bullhorn:

  1. Click "Continue" button on the Zapier Scriberr Card, and once more on the Bullhorn card to get started

  1. Sign in with your Bullhorn Credentials, check off US Data centers (or other appropriate data center based off your location)

  1. Important: All of the candidate fields are filled out, but you will need to edit the "owner name" field to be your full name as it appears in Bullhorn. This ensures that any candidates you export from Scriberr will fall under your ownership.

  1. Click "Continue", then "Continue and Test," after the test runs you should see a message like the following:

  1. To ensure the test worked, navigate to Bullhorn and search for candidate "Abraham Lincoln," you should see your test candidate show up in the search results - neat!

5. Test out the Integration

Now you are all Set up to export candidates in one click, lets test out the integration!

  1. Navigate to linkedin.com and view anyone's profile, you should see a new Scriberr button appear in the top right corner of the page:

  1. After clicking the button, you will see a preview of all the candidate data in the side bar, feel free to edit or add a comment about the candidate

  1. Click the "save data" button and the candidate will be exported directly to your CRM with a formatted resume
  2. Navigate to bullhorn and search for the candidate by name, they should appear in the search results!
